How to apply for a University Balloon Race scholarship
You must submit a formal application to apply for a scholarship from the University Balloon Race Scholarship Committee. Applications are accepted fromNovember 1 through February 1.
Follow the steps below to complete the scholarship application:
- Log intoMyNEVADA 2.0
- Go to Student Center (not the Student Center Dashboard though)
- SelectSupplemental Forms
- Select Scholarship application
- Graduate of a w88 mobile high school
- At least sophomore standing
- Minimum of one (1) full year (fall & spring semester) of undergraduate work left
- A minimum GPA of 3.25
- Involvement in community service and extracurricular activities
You must also provide information about the following:
- Your career goals
- Your paid work experience
- Your financial needs
- Admitted to graduate standing
- Completed twelve (12) credit hours of graduate level work at the University
- Presently enrolled in six (6) or more graduate credits
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Involvement in community service and extracurricular activities
- Your community service activities
You must also provide information about the following:
- Your career goals
- Your paid work experience
- Your financial needs
