The Executive Director of the David F. Miller Retail Center at the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida, Dr. Davis is a clinical professor whose current research focuses on the integration of analytics and artificial intelligence solutions into business decision-making, and effective AI solution adoption strategies within corporations.

Taking the first steps: Introducing AI to the University community

Teaching and learning
Through collaborative efforts, the Nevada Teaching Excellence Program, University Libraries, and Office of Information Technology are creating additional resources, workshops and tools so scholars can integrate AI into their classrooms and scholarship.

Research
The Office of Research and Innovation will provide opportunities for w88 login faculty to share their expertise in AI to expand efforts to enhance research across disciplines.

Operations
The University is integrating artificial intelligence software into our day-to-day business processes, such as data systems, to build efficiencies and explore the possibilities AI presents to improve the University's operational effectiveness.
AI in student devices
First-year and transfer students will have access to Microsoft Copilot and Apple Intelligence on their iPads through the Digitial Wolf Pack Initiative.
NevadaFIT integration
First-year students are required to complete an AI learning module that discusses ethics and the use of AI, provides guidance on the use of AI in their coursework, and reviews the University's policy on AI and academic integrity.
New AI certificate
The Office of Digital Learning is developing a three-course online certificate in AI that serves as an introduction to AI, ethics in AI and practical applications in AI. This program will be open to all students.
AI at Lake Tahoe
The Lake Tahoe campus will offer a one-credit introduction to AI course as part of their weekend programs offered this Fall.

AI working group
The working group is studying current artificial intelligence policies, creating best practices recommendations, and discussing how the University can leverage the transformative potential AI presents to the institution. Sub-committees include the following:
- Academic policies and use
- Administrative policies and use
- Research policies and use
- Develop and support best practices
- Identify and adopt best practices
- Implement University-wide governance
- Increase awarness across the University
